is philippines as fun as thailand?

Actually I would perfer Thailand. Been there once but not to dive.
The people there are quite friendly
Things are cheap too.

I have been to this place. It's perfect. The people, the ambiance, the food, the scenes, the adventure. You can find them all in one here. I highly recommend this place. It is worth spending your precious vacation time.

i've heard a lot of good things about the philippines, a good friend of mine is from over there and he told me that Palawan was a great place to dive because it's waters are protected so you can find a various amount of species

I dove in the Philippines in Puerto Galera, the Big Apple Dive Resort. The diving was very good - not the best, but worth it if you're in the region. The town is quite seedy though.
