OK, since this old thread has been resurrected, let's stir it up a bit.

How do people feel about fishing for sharks? And how would you differentiate between fishing and hunting?

Since the 1500's there only a few hundred confirmed deaths by Shark attack.

I would find it hard to believe there is enough evidence to suggest that this theory is true. Rather, I think it is an assumption without supporting data.

If I'm wrong, please point me to a relevant study!
