Default need tips please!

Just wondering what you all use for antifog. Sure hocking a big ol' gob of spit is a classic old school cure, but any other special concotions that people have had good luck with?

Well i'm one of those who uses the good old spit too , even if I do "wash" them with vinegar once i get home after any dive, i don't know if that's the reason, but i've had them for about 10 years I think!

Wow and no problems? Vinegar that is not one that I have heard of. Very interesting.

I may seem like a maniac but i always have a bottle of window washing liquid (in a spray format) in my diving bag. After each dive i squirt a bit on and wipe. I love the smell of 'clean' and what a result!!!

Guys, guys, no gross spit or painfull window washing fluid required ! The best anti-fog stuff I've used was shown to me by a DM in Hawaii. You mix Johnson & Johnson no tears shampoo 50/50 with water. Put this solution in a spray bottle and wala! You've got a great anti-fog solution that will last forever, well for a couple dives anyway. Oh, when you apply the solution to your mask, don't rinse it out! keep it in there and that will make you fog free for the dive.... period!

I just tested another Anti-Fog Product today that I actually liked. It's called Fog-Not. I liked it much more than that 500psi stuff. Scubadiving Magazine highly recommends this as an effective solution to the fogging issue, here is a link to their review http://dive.scubadiving.com/members/...iews.php?s=681. Also this stuff can be purchased from www.fog-not.com. I hope this is of some use to you.

This is an interesting thread, i've always wished that their was a better way yto do it than just spitting in the thing. It looks so cavemanish doesn't it!
I'll have to try the shampoo solution ...

I've always used the "5000 psi" without any problems.
