Default New diver... help !clueless?

Hello. I am not a diver though I will be taking classes soon for my license. (dont know the technical name for it) anyway I am heavy into video photography and I think that if i could get footage underwater it would be just amazing. I am also very into the underwater world and it looks very beautiful and peaceful. I also looked into it and I found a diving chart having to do with nitrogen and oxygen. It was in a table format and I did not understand how it worked. I understand that at a certain point the nitrogen can be bad for you and give you what they call "Diving sickness" anyhow I am very confused on this and if its harful. Or what refrences can I get to help me with my quest to learn this... I am very interested in this and very eager to start diving... I live in Michigan and i want to dive Lake Superior. Any help , Comments , or input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. *Johnathan*

Default Information available.

Your current 'lack of knowledge' is the reason why you will be taking classes for your PADI Certification. This question and many new ones will be brought up and answered during your training. Sign up for the course, get your materials and start enjoying a whole new area.
