i am 15yrs old and im planning to get certified is the class realy that hard im not worried about failing i just want to know what to expect

As long as you are physically and mentally fit you should not have any problems with the class. Just pay attention to all of your instructors, not only what they say but what they do. Most programs consist of classroom, pool, and open water instruction. I started diving at age 17, I learned alot from the initial class but I continue to learn more with every dive. Remeber the basic skills are what make or break a dive. Have fun and be safe.

Make sure you read in the book.... I found that hard when a teacher told me to do that at 15, but you really need to do that. If you have a good grasp of all the concepts they teach in the class..... you will be a much safer diver than those that gaze at the book.... fall asleep, pass the test and start diving.

Overall the course isn't really hard... it's fun, much better than high school

that takes me back for sure. I couldn't get over how easy it was, I remenber being very nervous the day before trying to think of all the traps and stuff but everything realy went fine and it didn't even seem to last very long
