Default Nitrogen Narcosis

What is Nitrogen Narcosis?
Is it fatal or not? Heard it something that affects the nervoous system.

There is a critical volume hypothesis that states there to be an increased volume of nitrogen in the membranes and this relates to solubility. This explains the pressure reversal of anesthetics. Nitrogen narcosis is potentiated by increased CO2 levels.

Nitrogen narcosis occurs when divers go below 100 FSW, due to the laws of partial pressures.

geez, i didn't know about this condition. It's pretty scary by the sounds of it, i quickly went through that page wbut will take much more time to do so when i get back from work tonight
