Default Opinion on Reg

I just received my SCUBA licenses 3 days ago, this is something I have always wanted to do, I asked my SCUBA instructor on what piece of equipment I should invest in first, and she said a reg. So my question is what is a good reg that is durable and will last me. I am willing to spend between 250-350. Therefore, my question is I guess is what is a good name and what I should invest in.

I just sent you a PM on the reg question, but to answer it here too, you will want a reg that will last a while and be able to adapt to your growing skill with Scuba. There will likely be plenty of people that will offer you advice as to which one is the best.

Also you will want to get your own BCD as another essential personal scuba item. Once you have a BCD and Reg (assuming you have a mask snorkel, fins, wetsuit) this is all you will need to enjoy Scuba for years to come.
