Default OW Certifiying
Well, I am just about done with the training sessions. I will be going to a local rock quary on June 8 and 9th to get OW certified. And then on the 10th will be heading to Myrtle Beach for my first Ocean going dive. I will be going with the local dive shop and the instructor for my first Ocean Dive. Can't wait to finally be able to get into the "real" water. Looking at the concrete bottom of a swimming pool was fun to start with, but now I am ready to actually see what else is below the surface.

Have fun, relax and listen to your instructor. My first dive was in the Cayman Island. I was spoiled right. The Ocean dive will be a great reward to finishing the course.

Last time I talked with the Instructor about the Ocean Dive, he told me that it was actually a Civil War wreck that is laying in about 70' of water and about 20 miles of shore. So, i really can't wait for this one.

Seriously though -- I do want to wish you the absolute Best in your OW!
I just got my O/W about 5 or 6 weeks ago and was Immediately Hooked.
I'm half-way through my AOW dives, and just Cannot Get Enough!
If you enjoy yourself even Half as much as I did, prepare to be hooked for Life!
