Default PADI vs NAUI Nitrox

Any difference between the two? Been taking NAUI, so should I just stick with that?

My resort's dive shop, which is a seperate company that happens to lease space from the resort not a resort run company, provides the PADI Nitrox class. The cost from the dive shop for the class is not much more than the price for a 2 tank dive. The course fee includes a 2 tank dive. I have to rent a BC, reg/octopus, computer either way. I wouldn't mind spending a few extra dollars to do the same dives and end up with another cert even if it means some classroom time.

Or would it be best to just hold off and take it with the same person who is teaching me open water and advanced open water so that I keep with NAUI certs? Thanks again

Go ahead and take it in that case. I've got certs from different agencies. They are stand alone. The only time it matters is if it's a teaching cert. A PADI instructor can't teach NAUI unless he gets a NAUI teching cert.

It doesnt matter now, I found out the shop at my resort has a NAUI instructor, so I'm going to find out what I can take, that wont take up too much time.
