Default responsible diving holidays

I'm interested in responsible tourism, which tries to respect local communities and cultures as well as the environment of the places we visit. Does anyone think divers know or care about these issues? Anyone know of any dive operators that work with a responsible tourism approach?

We work with a few! Our Fiji Trip works through a dive operation that is extremely sensitive towards the natural envirnment of the ocean we are invading. For example, on our last Fiji trip we went on a Shark Dive (no cage) and when asked why they don't "chum" the water they were very firm with their testimony of not changing the sharks natural behavior for hunting. They don't want to disrupt their natural envirnment (which includes not touching the reef system).
