The world record for a woman is of 221 metres (she did this in 2004), for a man it's of 313 metres, these are scuba diving records

that's realy deep! Those people realy must practice very hard; i 'd never be able togo that deep and i don't think that i'd like to do so anyway, there isn't much to see that deep.......'they' can see you but you can't see 'them'

Anyone ver seen the 'grand bleue' , the french -americain-italian film?
It came out in the 90's and was all about diving the deeper possible. It was an excellent movie i'd recommend to anyone, with jean-marc barr, jean reno and rosanna arkette

I don't dive very deep in general , i've tried 2 or 3 times to go deeper than i usual do but i don't feel oki realy, first i feel the difference in temperature which must have some psychological impact on my brain and i then don't feel at my place

It's a whole different game holding your breath and going deep than it is breathing. My dive buddy free dives to about 60' but that's what he learned to do first. I watch him sometimes as a safety crutch and it's amazing how quick he gets there and back. I just don't have the lung capacity he does. Oh well, I'm not hurt, he can't play guitar.
