Sharks are very much IN DANGER rather than dangerous, humans kill more than 100 MILLION of them every year.
Sharks have low reproductive rates and cannot sustain fishing pressure

It's no secet our sees and oceans are in serious trouble from mankind's activities. Enforcable legislation is needed globewise.

If they have a sharky times, I would think they would be having horror stories everyday!

Baby Shark : "Mommy, daddy just got speared!
Mommy Shark : "Oh don't worry dear, that happens all the time"

But still, sharking is or at least looks like an exciting sport!
Most fishing regions have a limit to how many you can catch per outting.

These creatures are suppoose to be the top of the food chain and thus the lower production rates. its like lions and tigers VS zebras.

you have far much chance to die in a car accident, electrocuted or whatever than die because a shark attacked you, a few days ago i was watching tv and they were saying that less of 10 people are attacked by sharks every year.....compared to cars and other deaths it's realy chicken's feed. I think we should just leave sharks alone realy, we can't realy say that they bother us can we?

Actually nowadays, its easier to get killed by a bunch of infected birds than anything else!
The more harmless they look the more deadly... I think we kill more sharks than they kill us... maybe like 1 to a million?

True. Nowadays not that the wild animals are on the top of the food chain, but you can say that humans are on top of the food chain.

We simply are ready to do anything for some thrilling action for that matter let it be even taking life of any innocent creature. And we killing more sharks than they killing us (the ratio being so high) truely speaks that sharks are innocent not that humans are innocent.

Statistics showed that around 12 million sharks are being killed by human every year. The extinction of sharks will not only deprive humans of food to eat but also deprive them of important medicines derived from sharks.

I don't think it's a difficult call, we just need to leave them alone, let them be in their natural envirnment, and if we (as divers) want to see them, we shouldn't chum the water either. The last shark dive I did was in Fiji and the dive operators didn't chum and had a strict policy not to. We didn't see a ton of sharks but it was still really cool to swim so close to them.

Let's leave sharks in their own habitat. Shark casualties are isolated cases. Let's preserve the beauty of the underwater world to our next generation. I hate to see sharks as the next dinosaur.
