Unhappy "it Is Just Not Right"

When you go to bed the weather is OK and get up there are no clouds in the sky just as blue as it can be BUT it is COLD COLD COLD. Whats wrong with this weather we should be warm and sunny like always what the heck I can't even get in the water today it's sooooo cold. I have drank more coffee this morning than I have all year.
SUNNY BUT NOT WARM TODAY

19 degrees here in GA this morning when I got up. Luckily, my instructor needed a Safety Diver for his confined class. It's not "real" diving, but at least I got to blow some bubbles and help some students take their first steps into the underwater world..

I feel for ya sweetheart. If I want to get wet up here in the cold contry I have to cut a hole in the ice or find a nice warm indoor pool.

Guys, it's 92 degrees over here and I have nowhere to dive!!
My rotation is almost up here and I can hardly wait to get back to the good old English weather for a few weeks.

I am hoping the weather behaves itself at the end of March. Cruising from Jamaica to Cuba, Bahamas, Bermuda, Azores and then back to the UK...17 days of perfect weather would be nice please

What is your definition of cold? The water is still warm right?

This cold enough for ya?
Mermet Springs, Illinois, this past Saturday. Water was 42F, air was cold enough to freeze gear between dives.

The day I wrote this post the high for the day was 2 deg. The water temp. where I would dive is 35.7 deg.
Mgictwnger- I have dove in 42 deg. water before but there wasn't any ice.

The water below the thermocline is that temp year-round. It was the freezing air that gave us problems. We were actually thawing the stuff before dives by dipping it in the 42 degree water.
