I don't know about Mama, but mine stunk. I spent the weekend with an old dive buddy who hadn't dove in a few years working on his skills. He had none. With all new and/or borrowed equipment he couldn't control his bouyancy or trim at all. However, it was kind of funny watching him hit the dive platform over and over with his bald head.
