Default Hey fron NC

Just wanted to stop and say hey to everyone. I am 30 from the big city of Charlotte, NC. I just started my certification for diving. And can't wait to get it all completed, and get in the water. My brother and I have been trying to decide on something the we both could go do together for sometime now, and finally decided on scuba diving. I love to travel, be outdoors, and love snorkeling. My fondest memory of snorkeling was doing it on the coral reefs in Oahu, Hawaii. Now I can't wait to go back and dive on these reefs.

Hi!
I just wanted to say Welcome!
I'm pretty new here myself, just completed my O/W certification, and am completely hooked. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have!
I have found alot of great info here, and folks willing to answer just about any question I can come up with.
Hope you will stick around!

Forget the reefs you have some of the best wreck dives in the world off your coast. Go for it! Welcome and dive safe.

Yeah, wreck diving is the main goal, but diving off the coast of Australia or New Zealand with the Great Whites is my number one goal to do. But you got to start somewhere right?
