Welcome to Diving Talk.. Where are you located in FL? (The view profile isn't working right now, so I can't see if it you put in your public profile)
We're usually down in FL 4-5 times a year hitting the Springs and the Gulf.. Thinking about doing the Atlantic out of JAX a litte later this year..

Default I live east central Florida

Satellite Beach, mostly go out of Port Canaveral or Sebastian Inlet the further south I go the cleaner and warmer the water gets. Its most definetly wort it! big fish and big lobster.

I got busted once at Sebastian inlet for attacking a pelican with my surf rod.

I was fishing the inlet with a 12' surf rod, when the guy next to me started yelling and pointing behind me. A pelican was downing my bait in one big gulp. Without thinking, I wacked him with the rod. A park ranger saw this and I got a $50 ticket.
