Sorry for the 8 months of quiet.. Babies, Surgery and TDY's will do that to you..
How has everyone been doing??
Any one do any good diving this year??
I've had a couple decent trips, but I'll put them in another category..
Just wanted to touch base with everyone again..

Default howdy stranger!

Hi!
I still pop in from time to time ....I've been diving my a** off - lol.

You guys remember just a couple of years ago when I was celebrating the
completion of my OW cert?? -

I just logged dive #303 --- I'm a bit obsessed, you think?

First round of tech training was finished back on Jan 1, 2009...and I've
logged just over 90 mixed gas decompression dives since. I'm looking forward
to trimix class and cave training sometime in the next 6 months.
It's not ALL deep stuff though .... last weekend I went out to California and
kicked around in the kelp around Catalina for a while.

The crown jewel of my dive year was the week in Micronesia, diving
(doubles and deco bottles) in the
wrecks of Truk Lagoon. Holey Moley, what a trip! wow!

I usually go diving two or three times a week, and the drysuit purchase
last January is going to make this winter just that much nicer.

I did a couple of tech dives on Veteran's Day (184' and 182' max depths),
and tomorrow I'm going to an "Eco-dive" ... where the local recreational
divers all get together and pick up trash (and the occaisional pair of cool
sunglasses) off the bottom of the marina. Event is sponsored by local
dive shops and businesses, and there are usually prizes to be won in the
raffle after the dives.

So, as you can see, I've been doing a whole bunch of different kinds of
diving...but as long as I can get underwater, I'm a happy girl.

Wow!!! That's amazing!! I wish had the time to do all that kinds of stuff.. I've been certified since '05 and I still haven't hit 100 dives yet.. Must be nice.. But, I enjoy it when I can and think about it when I can't.
Good to see you have stuck with it.. A lot of people get certified and then get away from it after everything is done..

Hey Dale,

Long time no chat. I had a chance to go to Fiji this year. It was mind blowing amazing. A must do bucket list type of thing. Hey Vegas glad your doing well and an avid diver. I have been out of action since the middle of August due to surgery. I am all better now and looking foward to getting back into diving. No trips planned cost is the major sticking pin. Classes have been real slow hoping the shop makes it through the winter.
