Default Cold waters

Have any of you ever experienced diving in cold waters?
I would love to do the experience one of these days but aren't sure what would be a good place to do so nor what equipement would be needed.
Any ideas?

How cold is "cold water" to you? For me it's in the 50F degree range. However I've met a couple of divers from Florida that said they don't dive in water colder than 70F!

If you are going colder than 50F then you would need a drysuit. I haven't dove with one of those yet myself, but would love to in the future. If you do plan to dive with a drysuit I'd suggest getting some training with it, people say it's quite different than a regular ol' wetsuit.

Not my cup of tea for sure anyway!

Oh no, no cold water for me please. It would take away all my pleasure.
I realy love hot water streams and the life you find in them (tropical fish and plants etc), cold waters don't have the same charm and features
