You were a little unclear. Did you have training yet? If you have not done training, check with your school see if they offer classes, or local Dive shop and last the YMCA. If you are looking to do your openwater dives? Or, your done with training and you want some place cool to go on a trip? If your done training, depends, on where you live and how much you can spend on it. If you live in the US, you can get to the Texas, Florida Keys, California, note California is considered cold water diving and the Caribbean pretty easy. If you traveling however, and leave the US you will need a passport to reenter. Plan ahead passports can take upto six weeks. They no longer will accept just a birth certificate. Check with your local dive shop, find out if they are putting together a trip. If you like sharks, I suggest the Bahama's. I did the run while aboard the Nekton dive boat. If you want to see cool stuff, Grand Cayman is a good place. Cozumel is good, but I do recommend you go with a group that runs a large boat 35foot or better, more stable, and it is drift diving. A sea camp might be fun for you, lots of guys and girls your age who love to dive. Check them out of the web. I know I suggest a lot but it you think about it you have to world to choose from. |
