Default Fatal Accident

Wow, did you read about the 49 year old who died diving the Andrea Doria? My heart goes out to his family. He was an experienced tech diver who had dove the AD many times before. There were no details about the accident itself in the article I read other then he surfaced with DCS. Anyone know of more details?

To me, it sounds like an arterial gas embolism because the onset of symptoms were rapid. My condoleneces to his family and friends.

The news reports are always sketchy at best. They don't answer the questions we divers want to know.

That is realy sad indeed!
Like what even if you are an experienced pro diver risk 0 doesn't exist, you never know when it will be your turn.... drats to fatality!

Life is a terminal disease. If you weren't born you would never die! Enjoy life.
