Question Hand signals when diving

What are the usual and most common hand signals that are used to communicate to each other, and what do they mean?

Best way I can describe this one is, if you drive you have at one time or another be directed by a traffic cop.

Many of the signs used in diving are the same. Stop, go this way or that way, slow down, watch me, go (kick), follow me. For many divers who say they don't know sign language, I give this example and it turns out many people know some sign language.
