Question What about visibility when diving

When you see diving on television, it is almost done in crystal clear water, what happens if the visibility goes...how do you find your way around?

Not all diving is done is clear blue water. Some quarries can get to be a challenge. If you planned your dive and set you compass, trust it and follow it to the exit point.

In some quarries the divers will call it diving by braille, there is little or no vis.

There are finning techniques and other things which you can do to keep the silt down, but sometimes it is just plain bad and there's nothing you can do about it. That's why divers deploy lines and use their compass.
The show Deep Sea Detectives often shows divers in low viz situations, although "shows" is kind of an oxymoron.
