Default Dive #149

Yesterday, out in the pouring rain (good thing I bought the kind of scuba-gear that's waterproof! - LOL!)
I logged my 149th dive.

max depth was 180' - total run-time with deco was an hour and 4 minutes.

vis was splendid, but it was REALLY dark at 180', on a dark and cloudy day, in "Nevada Cove" (or we call it "Kraken Cove") in "Black Canyon" near Hoover Dam. (I really love my Salvo can light - tiny, but BRIGHT! and 5 hour burn time.)

It was the coolest dive yet.

God I love it!

I spent some of my final deco-stop looking up at the surface watching the rain, and thinking about how lucky I am to get to do these things.
Life is so good!

that was my 13th mixed gas, decompression dive since I earned my cert on January first (I'm not including training dives from class in that number) - and is right at the edge of my limits.

I can stay at that depth longer than I did, but I don't plan to go much deeper than that until I'm certified for trimix.

(hopefully planning that for early in the summer)
