Default Finally jumping in the Big Pond

Next Saturday I'll be making my first trip of the year to lake Michigan. It's late in the season for me to get started, but lack of $$, the price of gas, and a lot of weekend gigs (I'm a musician) have kept me limited to quarries. I'm taking a group to dive the southern tip of the lake on Saturday with my buddy Capt Mike Tapper on his N'Pursuit:

N'Pursuit Adventure Charters, Scuba, Wreck Diving and Sportfishing Charters on Lake Michigan

The wrecks are shallow (40-50' range), but still interesting. It's fun, no-pressure diving. I can't wait!!! I'm even going out again on Sunday morning with another group from a Chicago dive shop.

Well, the weekend was a good one. We had a little wind and rain on Saturday, clear on Sunday. The viz was unusually good, and although I've dove these wrecks many times before, there is always something new to discover: I found a penetration I never knew existed on a wreck with a big long swim-thru and managed to wriggle in and out. What a blast!
