| Mostly, I will be diving at old places but with new changes. I have been working my way up to IDC staff. This year I will be training some new assistant Instructors. I am looking forward to working at a new level it brings a new excitement to some old locations. I will be traveling out to Mermet Springs over Memorial Day. Mostly, I will be diving at Pearl Lake. I hoping one or two trips down to Heigh Quarry.
I was hoping to do a trip to the Cayman Islands but I ran into some problems and it looks as if the trip is off this year.
Dale, your lucky to live near the blue water.

| Plans this year include: Manatee visit in February, finishing my DM within the calendar year, doing a long weekend trip to visit the Graveyard of the Atlantic and hitting a U-boat and other wrecks, maybe working on my cave cert and, of course hitting a few more N. FL springs I haven't been too yet. And, although not dive related, log more time towards my Private Pilot's license. I think that's enough extra on my plate for the year.
Yes, Scuba Mama, I count my dive blessings every year. |

| My plans (hopes?) are to get the tech training I've been putting off and to make it up to the northern Great lakes: Tobermory or Isle Royale.

I want to see as much of the world as I can, while I can
Most of the areas I will be visiting are said to be good for diving apparently, but as I don't dive, I will watch from the ship |

| not too much this year, but 2009 :) Wow! that is some travel log! I can't wait to hear the stories you'll have when you get back!
As for me, 2008 will probably be a lot of local stuff...Lake Mead (though we're looking at some new dive spots there) and down to Lake Mohave (I still haven't gotten to see the School bus yet!).... nothing too exotic. Maybe out to California once or twice if I am Very Lucky.
The plan is to save our $$$ all through 2008, and then blow it all on a 2 week trip to Micronesian in Feb of 2009. [anyone want to save up and come along? there's a couple of spots left on the boat!]
The Doc says I may have to have surgery this spring, so I might be out of commission for a bit....but not too long, a couple of months and I'll be back in action!
Oh! and Congrats Scuba Mama on your new endeavors!!

Hope the surgery goes well, and Microneasia is a dream for most of us.
And BTW...the school bus: hope it's not the short one.

We usually dive out of Hatteras these days. Might be interesting to hook up and put a face to the avatar!
