I will be.
The price of gas and a lot of gigs have kept me from my favorite hole in the ground, Mermet Springs:

Mermet Springs - Home of 1st Class Diving

I'll be there in 95 degree heat runnin around in my drysuit.

I think some of quiet has to do with the summer time. Honestly, I'd rather be outside (and you'd rather be diving) than behind a computer

Well, you know what I mean.

I was teaching this weekend. We had 14 students and three instructors and two divematers. It made for a very crowded pool. One of my ears is plugged up. I can't hear out of my left ear. I am going to a clinic and have them flush it for me. This has happened before that all it will take.

Well, my ear has a little damage. The ear drum is pushing against the small bone in the ear. Still can't ear that well today but it is better. The doctor said no diving for six weeks got to let it heal. I'll wait but it will be hard. The shop was not happy with the news but will deal with it. The owner figured as much up and down as we had down on Saturday and Sunday was just a little to much. Students have no idea how much an instructor has to go through.

Or how little $$ is involved. That's why I've never done it.

BTW...I'll be out again this weekend (2 in a row!!) trying out some new dry gloves at Haigh quarry. WOO-HOO!

I'm so sorry about your ear Scuba Mama! I send all my best wishes for a SUPER-speedy recovery!

I'll be out again this weekend...that makes five in a row, with a couple of them including both Saturday and Sunday under water.

I'd really like to get out to California again sometime soon....or even someplace with water that's a bit warmer....but for right now I am still getting to blow bubbles at a variety of dive sites all around the local lakes.

Next weekend I'll be trying out white water rafting for the first time...it should be a blast - it's a two day trip, and we camp beside the river.

Our Eco-dive on Saturday was cancelled

but we still got out Lake Mohave on Sunday.
We got together with our friends that we haven't been diving with
since we dove on the Yukon together last year.

The day was sunny with a light and variable breeze.
We did 4 nice dives. The vis wasn't so great, but it wasn't terrible either.
