Default Let's Share Our Wreck Dives

Hi all

I know that we divers on this side of the Atlantic have a special affinity for wrecks. Most people I talk to love their wreck diving. But what is it that attracts us? Is it the lure of what treasures we will find? Do we have an interest in why that vessel actually became a wreck? Does the history of that vessel interest us?

I organise quite a lot of diving off the Yorkshire coast (probably because I am a Yorkshireman). I like to research and then put down information on the particular vessel that I am diving into my log books. It gives the dive extra meaning when you can study and learn about what that vessel did in life, how it got to where it is now and what you would expect to see when diving that particular wreck.

I know that there are lots of you out there who have information of some of the wrecks that you would dive locally. With that in mind, how about you show me yours if I show you mine!?
