Thumbs up 200' VIZ Mask Anti-fog

One Word "AWESOME" I tried my buddys 200 viz a few weeks ago and it was awesome. I tried to find it at the LDS but they did not have it. So I bought the 500 psi. Well I was bad dissapointed when my goggles fogged up before I even went underwater. So on my second dive yesterday I used my buddys 200 viz again..... No fog for the whole 47 minutes. I got on the internet and bought two bottles from leisure pro last night! Well thats my story and im sticking to it!

Along the same lines, I have a new mask and it seems to fog up while in the pool (doing the classes) we were told that taking some toothpaste and scrubbing the mask with it would help, told by a friend that shaving cream would help as well? Have any of you hear of this??

Toothpaste is standard practice for cleaning new masks. Shaving cream is a new one on me.
My favorite defog is spit. IMHO, it works as well as anything, and hocking a big gob into your mask sure impresses the ladies!

Mix baby shampoo half and half with water. It is cheap, it works great, you clean your mask every time you use it, it won't hurt your eyes and you can wash your hair with it after the dive. You can go to the dollar store and get a lifetime supply for a couple dollars.

Have you ever read the warning lables on the back of a lot of those anti-fog bottles? Many say not to get it in your eyes. Duh, why would you use something on the inside of your mask if you were afraid it would get in your eyes?
