A book and computer dillema?

Hi everybody! I need help choosing a book and a dive computer.

The books I'm intending to buy are one of theese three books
PHYSIOLOGY AND MEDICINE OF DIVING-Bennet and Elliot 165$
DIVING MEDICINE-Bove and Davis 85$
DIVING AND SUBAQUATIC MEDICINE-Edmonds, Lowry... 80$

Just to say, I'm a medical 5th year student and I wanna buy a book that has more medical facts. A book which I can use for a long time! I read reviews on Amazon and they said it's Bove&Davis. What are your opinons? Thanks!!!

About the computer I got my eye on Cressi Archimede II. It's cheap, supports Nitrox and for a CMAS 2* diver who dives for 2-3 weeks a year, I think it's OK for a first computer which I intend to use a couple of years. Again, I would appreciate any kind of comment, opinion, discussion. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

I have a copy of Bove and Davis book from the early 90s. All aspects are still relevant today. Not only does it cover medical aspects of diving but it also reviews equipment and some non diving issues such as near drowning and hypothermia. I use this book exclusively for my presentations on dive medicine. Hope this helps. Dive safe and dive often.
