buying a compressor

I am going to buy a compressor for use on a sail boat. it needs to be gas powered and portable.

I have narrowed down to two system. one is a Nuvair 3.5G, the other is a rebuilt Stewart Warner from Pro Tec Air in Corpus Christi TX.

in talking to them, the folks at Pro Tec have gained my confidence.

anyone have thoughts or experience with these vendors or units?

I am a big fan of the compressors that Nuvair sells (in fact I sell them too). They represent the second largest compressor manufacturer in the world ... Coltri Sub who has the largest dealer network in the world. No matter where you are, you will be able to get repair parts or service which can't be said for many other brands.
