Default Changing Battery In Dive Rite Bridge II

Hi All,

New to this forum. I have an old wrist mounted dive computer made by Dive Rite,... The Bridge II,... that the battery has gone dead in. In the past I would just send it back to Dive Rite and for $25 they would change it out for me. Nowadays, they no longer offer support for it. It is still in exceptionally good condition and I mostly just used it for cave diving. My wife, daughter and son are getting certified and I am trying to stretch my old/existing gear as far as it will go for obvious financial reasons. I have changed the battery but it won't work correctly and a good friend of mine explained that in order to make it work correctly you have to put a jumper wire between two posts/wires/ ???/ etc while you change the battery. Only problem is he doesn't know the exact way to do it. Does anyone out there know how to do this or where I can find out?

Thanks,,

Caveman McK

Look up "dive rite express" it's a shop down in fla. They have a web site and specialize in dive rite gear. They may be able to help

Yep, they are a friendly, helpful bunch. Naturally they will try to sell you a new model. I think they will help if they can, but don't hold your breath. So to speak.
I just got a DiveRite Nitek duo, and it is sweet: simple to use, easy to read, and all the important stuff on one screen.
Something to consider is that a new computer will use more up-to-date software in its calculations, thus giving you a more accurate dive profile.
