Question Creased Wetsuit

Hi,
I'm new to the snorkling scene, hopefully one day scuba. Anyway
I have been informed if a wetsuit gets creased, that all one has to do
is hang it up for awhile in an airing cupboard and the creased
neopprene will be back to normal, is this true? Hope someone can help.
Many thanks.
Jeff

Never had experiance with that before... it's been my experiance that when a wetsuit compresses or creases it doesn't fully recover even if the crease is less visible. How bad is the crease? Where is it? How old is the wetsuit? what is the thickness?

Hi,
Thanks for the reply Scuba Jerm. The wetsuit was supplied to me new, which I sent back, and the creases were in many places of a 5mm wetsuit. It was the supplier who suggested hanging in an airing cupboard.
