Default Dive Computer

I am looking for a wrist dive computer. Funds are low however so that limits what I can do. I want air/nitrox. I have been looking at the Aeris Atmos 2 Wrist Computer which I have found for 250. Is this a good computer, is there something else in a similar price range that I should look at.. I am fairly new and looking for general advise. Also if anyone knows of anywhere that would be cheaper to get this that would be great.

Do your research and you will find one you like. I have been diving for 19 years and finally bought a computer this year. I opted for a console mount because I use a wrist compass. I purchased an Oceanic VEO 100. It is an excellent beginner model and paid less than $200 for it.

I like the layout and functions of the Veo 100, but the only draw back for me is that it's not air integrated. You are able to upgrade to the Veo 180 and 250 but they also lack that feature as well. Air integration adds a premium that is often hard to swallow.

The Atmost II is a very good computer, i have many a buddies who use that computer. I myself am using an Aeris Savant the predecessor to the atmost II. Altho if you can splurge another 50 bucks, you can get the Dive Rite Nitek plus. This is a great computer. it is exactly the same as the Dive Rite Nitek Duo, just in a smaller package, about the size of a watch. It is capable of holding two nitrox gasses and being able to switch on the fly. The first gas is from 21%-49% o2, and the second gas is from 21%-99% o2 to be used as deco. Im sure this computer will satisfy all your needs for some time to come, pretty much all the way until you start using trimix.
