Default Dive computers

Any opinion or any one ever use this sucker??

I'm not to sure about what to look for in a dive computer other then Air, Nitrox. What is called when it warns you if your comming up to fast? is there some tec. term for that??

That is a well-known name brand and has all the functions you need. You will have to get a SPG (submersible pressure gage) to know how much gas is in your tank, and this will not interface with the computer. I think this is the third thing on their 3-gage console.

The ascent rate warning goes off when you are coming up faster than you should, no tech term I'm aware of. My principal computer is factory-set at:
26 ft/min at depths of 0-19 feet
39 ft/min at 20-58 feet
52 ft/min at 59 feet and deeper

Different agencies have different guidelines for ascent rate but all agree on one thing: slower is better.

Right but the SPG will come with Reg. set which I will be renting this time around, so I guess I should be buy this computer is a wrist unit.
I should be able to set it in a console on a later date. eh?

Check for it on Leisurepro, they have some reviews for it. I don't think it was highly rated for some reason as I recall...
