Default fins

I am having a problem with my fins when im diving

i have an old knee injury which flares up when im diving is it possible that split fins or shorter fins would help?

You never know till you try some different fins. Splits are supposedly less stressful. I would suggest you borrow some different types and give them a try.
I tried Jetfins because all my tekie friends swear by them, and I hated them. I dive doubles with Atomic splits which are pretty stiff for a split fin and have no problems.

A good friend of mine has constant knee trouble. He bought some Oceanic V11 split fins and swears by them.

I'm with MgicTwnger, it is probably best trying different styles and types (possibly from your diving buddies??) and going with what you find works.
