Default Interesting Scuba Question

I am a student at Boston University's School of Management and my team of students and I are doing a project over the semester that entails us to pick an industry and analyze customer needs within that industry. Once we identify needs, we then need to develop a new product that can meet those needs. So my question is: is there anything about scuba diving that frustrates you or any needs in the market right now that you do not feel are being met? Thanks for the input.

One thing I have had a problem with from the beginning, weights. I use soft weights and found them almost impossible to mark. Because I loan them the students I can't also tell who got my weights. I can't tell you have many I have lost because of this. Also the diving condition I'm in are not always the best, if the product was to glowed it would be easier to see if dropped in the quarry. I have used zip ties, paint. The ties break on the paint fades off. I know I am not the only instructor who has had this problem. Good Luck with your project.
