I was angry to learn that the battery was not replaceable, I was told it was a gel-pack unit, the battery was not replaceable, there was no repair available on the unit, and it could just be thrown away, I just have no idea what to do except make sure i research the item well long before I buy it if it is a mares, so be careful I dont think they treated me to well or to honsetly just be careful

I bought it about 9 years ago and I dont have the paper work as it was out of warranty, I never read in the paperwork that it was designed for the battery to be non replaceable nor was I advised of it by the dive shop. all I can say is when to comes to mares I will shop with extra care if I cant find another brand
