Default regulator

i have a deal were i can get a sherwood reg at a good price but i havent hear anything about sherwood its always scubapro or oceanic. any sites, opinion, or experiences would be appreciated. thank you

Nothing wrong with Sherwood, it's a name brand with a good rep.
The important considerations are warranty and getting service for it at your local shop.

I would go with MgicTwnger on that advice. Look at your local LDS - check that they can, indeed, service Sherwood and also check on the costs for servicing. Some regulators can cost a mint just having their annual service.

Good luck in your choice of regulator.

no kididng, really??? Is this somthing that you can walk in to your LDS and just plainly ask "so do you service Sherwood Regulators, and if so generally how much?" or do you have to buy it and bring it in to show them what you have?? (model, type, etc.)

I was thinking of checking out http://www.scuba2000.com they are about 1.5 hours away but I would have any equ. service done at a LDS.
