Default ScubaPro or Oceanic?

Hello,
New to this forum and diving. The wife and I are in the process of buying new regs ,BC's and dive console with comp. Have been looking at ScubaPro Knighthawk or the Excursion from Oceanic. I'm really want to get the Delta4 reg. and VEO250 Swiv console from Oceanic over the MK25/s600 with Prime comp. console from ScubaPro. Any thoughts or non-biased opinions out there? Thanks!

Well, I'm not exactly non-biased because I've used the Oceanic stuff but not the ScubaPro. I've tried tons of other products (since we test them frequently) and I really like Oceanic. They build a really good quality BC and Reg. The Delta 4 reg is great, good breathing pressure (feels pretty natural). As for the Excursion BC, I haven't tried that one yet, but it looks close to their reef rider which is wonderful. I think Aeris makes that one (oceanic's sister company).

Good luck.
