Very true. I will not go out anywhere without a buddy.

Accidents occur in diving because of the risks involved in this activity. Having a buddy during diving is a precautionary measure that can reduce the risk of your under water exploration.

I've been diving with my buddy Carl for over 10 years now, we are no professionals even after all this time beacuse it realy is a hobby to use, nothing we take too seriously well that is if not the security. It's incredible how both of us knows the others diving habbits etc...

Thats very neat that you have someone that you have known that long to dive with you.

Your diving buddy can also be a non living thing. While it is important to have a friend with you when diving, do not forget to bring your non living buddies with you like basic information where to call SOS in case of emergency.

My buddy has been my husband for the last 6 years just about. i use to dive with a friend before that but once she got married she stopped diving (which realy was a shame), anyway I don't regret diving with my husband, as nobody knows me better!

I came across diving groups offering buddy services to diving enthusiasts. They can be tapped in case you need company for your diving activities.

i' bad , these days it happens that i go and dive alone, i enjoy it. That sensation of realy being alone...it has a scary side too that is, not because i miss having a buddy but because it gives you a particluar sensation which is very hard to describe
