Default Suunto Mosquito

Not sure what the protocol is on mentioning dive equipment suppliers but hats off to Watersports Warehouse in Cornwall. I ordered a Suunto Mosquito on Wednesday @ 2.00pm and, as promised, it arrived before 1.00pm the next day. This having given up waiting after 6 weeks for one to arrive having ordered it at my local scuba shop. By the way, what is the spare, much shorter, strap for that it comes with? and what's the clear plastic bit for? or should I read the instructios first before asking stupid questions?
Also... has anyone got any tips/hints about this dive watch that doesn't leap out of the 114 pages of the manual that I've got to grind through?

Enjoy your Mosquito. The spare, shorter strap is for when you are diving overseas. You can change wrist straps to take into account the fact that you are not putting the unit over a bulky dry suit/thick UK wetsuit. The clear plastic bit is to put over the face of the unit to save scratches on the computer face.

Of the 114 pages of the manual provided, you should find a short introductory 'idiots' guide. Designed for people such as myself.

Thanks Kev, just found the laminated 'quick reference' card. Looks like I'll need an idiots guide to that though!

You add the shorter strap to the exsisting strap to fit over a bulky drysuite or a7mil if needed.
