Default weights for drysuit diving

Hi

im about to do my first scottish water dive and was wondering how much weight will i need

Without any more info from you it's impossible to give even an intelligent guess. You have to dive with the drysuit to work out your weighting. I would suggest taking a class or at least working on weighting and trim in a pool or some such.

MgicTwnger is right. You should at the very least look to be doing a Drysuit orientation at the pool. If you persevere with the heat, you should wear everything that you will be wearing in the open water. You will then only need to take into account the extra weight required for diving in sea water.

Will it be Oban?

Default 1st dive

Thanks for the help

i went out yesterday with a club i took 32pounds and only had to use 26pounds

had a fantastic dive and going on for more.
