Default accidents

I was wondering what were the most common accidents that occured during diving? i hardly ever hear of any realy that's wthe why of my curiosity!!

One common is Barotraumas. From the term itself you get an idea of what it is.

As defined its an injury due to unequal pressures between a space inside the body and the ambient pressure, or between two spaces within the body; examples include arterial gas embolism and pneumothorax.

Wow , very intersting link, i had no idea their were so many!!! And most are things i wouldn't of ever thought of.If not the nose bleeds due to the water pressure and stings of various creatures

A few years ago a 70 year old man we knew died while he was underwater, he had dived for over 35 years but had a heart attack, some said it was du to the water pressure. Do you think this could of been true?

this may not be considered an "Accident" but I believe (according to PADI) the most common painful thing that happens in Scuba Diving is Sunburns.
