Default salty tangles?

this may be more for the ladies, but maybe some of the guys may benefit also?

to help cut down on that salty-sticky feeling that tangles up your hair after ocean diving, try putting a little hair conditioner on your hair before you dive. It doesn't take much, just a little bit, ...and have no trouble combing it out later.

I got a buzz-cut this summer. Solves all kinds of problems if you don't much care what you look like, and I'm old enough that I don't.

I worried about the type of chemicals I would be releasing in the water. So, I found a conditioner I could put in my hair while it was wet. I am in the pool so much,I found problems with my hair matting up. So, I talked with my hair stylist and she recommend a product for use either while my hair is wet or dry. I use it as soon as I am out of the water. Works like a charm. Paul Mitchell makes the product.

As for those with out the hair dealings, how do you keep you ears warm?

I shave my head. Much easier to take care of and I don't worry about a haircut when I have to put back on the uniform.

I admit I hadn't thought of that --
maybe because I always dive with something on my head? - at least a neoprene 'cap', if not a full hooded vest...and every ocean dive so far for me has been off the coast of California (where I ALWAYS where a hooded vest -brrrr!)...so the thought of something getting from my hair to the water didn't occur to me! (I wonder if that had anything to do with those Girabaldi following me around? - I'm just kidding!)

I will pay close attention to what I put on before I go in!

Thanks!!
