Vegas

so I looked and looked and looked....and finally the day came.

the day was Friday, and I was a little miffed with my boss...I was ready for some "retail therapy" to cheer me right up...so when 5 pm hit I went straight to my LDS...

I've been trying them on....and I found the one I wanted...and I'm afraid that
my clear-skirt mask has found a new home in my "back-up box" in the bottom of the dive bag.

I went Black...and believe I won't be going back! hahahaha.

I tried the Scubapro Orbit mask with the black skirt. Really low profile, and a great fit....I CANNOT BELIEVE how much I can see wearing this mask!
It was actually a bit disorienting on the first half of the first dive....wow!!
the field of view is incredible.
I am a happy girl.

I also forgot to mention that I picked up a folding snorkle.
It's great!
I can still putter around at the surface watching all the little fishies...then once we're down I pull it off, roll it up, and tuck it in my pocket.

No purge valve to get sand stuck in, none of that "dry snorkle" stuff on top...just a rubbery "j" that's easy to clear and rolls up quite small.

I'm a doubly-happy girl!
