Default Mares ESA

OK, I'll break the champagne bottle over this new forum (thanks Ally!).

Does anybody else use a Mares ESA mask? As far as I know it is the only 6-window mask ever made: 2 each, front, side, and down. I bought it for the down windows. They let me place my stick-on lenses where I can read my gauges without taking up space on my front lenses. It fits medium to large faces and is a bit bulky, but not overly so.

They were selling for $80-90 US. Now that they have been discontinued I have seen them for as little as $26. I think I'll get a spare.

My brother bought one of those new very low volume masks. I was amazed to see how much 'down' vision he picked up. With a very flexible skirt it didn't leak around his facial hair either.

The principal reason I bought the ESA was to get the stick-on lenses out of my foward field of vision. It was either that or a bifocal mask which would become less useful as my vision changes with age.

Getting older sucks in so many ways............

What a great, but depressing, idea.
