Default Famous films

What films about the sea have you realy enjoyed watching? lately i went through a documentary who was in episodes about all the different kinds of sharks who can be found. And of course my favorite sea films were all those made by Jea-Jacques Cousteau and his son Jean-yves if my memory is right on the names!

I loved the film the grand bleu by luc besson.
I'd recommend anyone who loves the ocean and diving to see this film, it's brilliant, interesting, intense, funny and sad.

Yes i saw that film, it was very good, but eventhough i'ma longtime divers i never realy understood the end of the film? So he finaly chooses the sea to his pregnant wife? or does he go for a final dive before coming back to reality?
I think that he chooses to go down and die but then again i'm quite a negatif person film wise....

the grand-bleu was the divers film by excellence, if you haven't seen it yet you should realy do so, it's about these divers who do competitions to dive the deeper possible, their love life, professional life , their passion...
