Deep Sea Detectives

........recently aired a show on one of the coolest wrecks in this neck of the woods, the car ferry Milwaukee. It was a blast seeing them dig into the history and probable cause of loss of this huge ship the once transported railroad cars across lake Michigan. It lies at 125' about seven miles NE of Milwaukee harbor. It sank in October of '29 in a gale that took many ships to the bottom.
For those of you unfamiliar with Great Lakes diving, this makes a good introduction.
Last time I dove it was last summer, I've got to go back soon!
And those guys give me gear envy, big time!

The dove a wreck I was involved with ID'ing. I hated to have my wife watch it because they make everything so dramaticly dangerous. I bought the CD of the program. They used the same boat and people I dove the wreck with.
