It is owned by a corporation now, they were of course nice on the phone and only needed a one night deposit. So I guess I will ask to see the room before I would give them any more money and if it's as bad as you say it is go up the street to the Holiday Inn.

I can recommend the Ocean Point Suites. They are time-share condos run sort of like a hotel, very nice, and the price is right. I'll be there for the third time in December, just before the high season rates kick in.

Ask about the scuba tanks! I went to the Key Largo last year and the dive operator used old 2400 psi tanks instead of newer 3000 psi tanks--ask about this, as it will greatly affect your dive time.

What size 2400 tanks? Larger LP tanks can hold a lot of gas.
