diving in spain

I'm off to the costa Brava in once month time (east coast of spain) does anyone know of good places i could do some diving at?

i've dived in spain a few times but it was down south around malaga's region. It's very pleasant down there but it's very very touristic too so if you like the tranquility it may not be a top choice

I have dived in Ibiza last september and it was fantastic. Especially i liked the vegetation as all my previous dives were at the GBR where there were not much if it. Cave diving is great in Spain too. Hopefully you enjoyed your time.

I just came back from the Canaries, Gran Canaria and the diving there was actually very good i was pleasantly surprised dived some great wrecks in the north of the island and saw so many fish on reefs in the south, i was diving with a company called canary diving www.canary-diving.com and the best thing was the flight was so short "yeah" !!!

It does look as though Spain and the islands are offering up some good diving for the UK diver.

Prices are good and ease of travel make it a worthwhile excursion.

We are actually looking at the options of running some of our open water courses in Tenerife during 2007.

Certainly a viable option over travelling to the Red Sea.

and kev if you ever fancy doing any courses in Gran Canaria just drop us a line, water is definatly warmer than uk i learnt to dive in dostill quary "brrrrrrrrr"

ive never dived the other islands but i hear they are just as good

Many thanks. Daughter is called Louise and she runs the front end of things for me.

I am, for better or worse, flying out to Angola on Friday but will be working a six week on, two week off rota. Hopefully, I will still be able to enjoy the forum whilst in deepest darkest Africa!
